Marcia is very proud that her essay on voting rights is part of an exhibit at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, Georgia.
The young man, a freshman at Easton High School, said that he “likes to turn simple facts into something beautiful.” He identifies himself as a thinker, a philosopher, an artist, writer, dancer and athlete. Achievements: Emily Hu placed third in the United States Capitol History Essay Contest for her essay on voting rights. She also was the only Kentucky student finalist in the MIT INSPIRE High School Research Competition, in which she won first place in her category – Science, Technology and Society – for her research paper “Formulating and Implementing a Right to Be Forgotten in the United States: American Approaches to a Law of International Origin.” She also won the Lincoln Award, one of five special prizes presented to select finalists.
